Current runner-up in the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, Corinthians begins another edition of the tournament. The team led by William Batista is in Group 8, alongside XV from Jaú-SP, Trindade-GO and Luverdense-MT. The key is based in the city of Jaú, in the interior of São Paulo.
In the 55 editions of the Copinha played to date, Corinthians is the great champion, with 11 titles. Behind are Fluminense, São Paulo and Inter, with six trophies each.
With a history of good participation in the Copinha, Trindade arrives once again with the clear objective of advancing to the next phase. The initial goal is to finish among the top two in Group 8. The team is the current under-20 champion of Goiás, beating clubs such as Goiás, Vila Nova and Atlético-GO.
