A delivery man’s routine is not always simple, and João Victor showed this by sharing an episode that quickly gained repercussions on social media. The video begins with a long wait at the entrance of a building: it took more than 11 minutes until the customer came down to collect the order.

When the client finally showed up, the situation got worse. She tried to pay for the meal via PIX, but the order required payment exclusively by credit or debit. Faced with the refusal, the customer got excited, started cursing the delivery man and asked what she would do without a card to complete the purchase.
With the total delay exceeding 16 minutes and the payment impasse, the application ended up canceling the order automatically. João Victor had to return the food to the restaurant, but the establishment authorized him to keep the meal.
The ending of the video was what caught the most attention. Instead of consuming the lunchbox, the delivery man found a homeless man who was trying to eat frozen chicken that had expired in 2021. Sensitized, João decided to donate the hot meal to the man, transforming a moment of tension and frustration into a gesture of empathy and solidarity.
The attitude was widely praised by internet users, who highlighted the delivery man’s humanity and the importance of small gestures amid routines marked by pressure, disrespect and difficulties in daily work.
