The military intervention of the United States of America against Venezuela certainly does not contribute to building the much-declared peace. The Minister of the Interior of the SR Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Voice-SD) announced this on the social network.
According to the head of the Department of the Interior, the news from the American continent is serious, disturbing and confirms that the policy of forceful solutions and unilateral steps leads to further escalation of tension rather than sustainable peace and stability.
“I firmly believe that after the detention of the Venezuelan president by the United States, the situation will not turn into an open military conflict, for which ordinary people would once again pay the price,” said Šutaj Eštok.
American President Donald Trump wrote on his social network Truth on Saturday morning that The United States launched a large-scale attack against Venezuela. According to him, the country’s president, Nicolás Maduro, was captured and taken out of the country together with his wife. He emphasized that the operation was carried out in cooperation with American law enforcement agencies.
