Edinho calls the right submissive for supporting US action – 01/03/2026 – Politics

The president of , , criticized this Saturday (3) members of the Brazilian right for celebrating the Trump government’s intervention in and called the applause for the military operation in a neighboring country submission.

Edinho also highlights that he made it clear, in an interview, that his interest is in oil production, which sets a very serious precedent. He defends that the Brazilian democratic field unites in defense of democracy.

“We cannot understand the applause from the Brazilian right about what happened in Venezuela, it is a lot of submission. It is very serious for the Trump government to invade a country just because of its oil reserves. The precedent is very serious, it is time for the Brazilian democratic camp to unite, democracy has to win, the concept of sovereignty cannot be defeated”, he stated.
