Liensberger speaks out after serious injury: “I’m confident”

Innsbruck – Ski racer Katharina Liensberger underwent successful knee surgery after her serious fall in St. Michael/Lungau on Friday and publicly commented on her situation on Saturday. The Vorarlberg native missed the Olympics and the rest of the season because of a tibial plateau fracture, a torn meniscus and medial ligament. “Of course it is a big challenge for me to miss the upcoming highlights of the season and especially the Olympic Games,” said Liensberger.
