The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, condemned the United States operation in Venezuela that captured dictator Nicolás Maduro this Saturday (3).
“As we have already stated, we condemn any intervention and are guided by what the Constitution establishes — this goes beyond even Maduro’s presidency,” he said.
“It has to do with international politics, international law, international legal order and with very clear principles of Mexican foreign policy that we defend. Within this framework, this is our statement condemning this intervention, and we will continue to evaluate and speak out”, he added.

In the early hours of this Saturday (3), the United States Armed Forces deployed dozens of aircraft and resulted in the capture of Nicolás Maduro.
He is being taken to New York, where he must face criminal charges in American justice.
Trump said he would “make a safe, appropriate and sensible transition.”
He also published one that is taking the dictator to New York.
