Toll collection in Rondônia is already a reality and should directly impact the routine of those who use BR-364, the state’s main highway. In the coming months, drivers traveling between municipalities such as Jaru, Ouro Preto do Oeste and Ariquemes will start paying tolls in both directions — both on the way out and on the way back.

The model adopted by the Nova-364 concessionaire will be Free Flow, a 100% automatic electronic toll system, without physical booths and without the presence of collectors. In this format, the vehicle normally passes along the highway, while cameras and sensors read the license plate and automatically record the fare.
There is no charge at the time of ticketing. The amount is entered into the dealership’s system and sent to the driver through the registered payment method or through the official channels available. If payment is not made within the deadline, the user may be subject to fines and additional charges.
Despite the start of collections, structural improvements on BR-364 are still limited. So far, the concessionaire has only reported roadside cleaning services and pothole filling operations, with no immediate plans for duplication or major infrastructure works.
The implementation of the toll has generated debate among drivers and residents of the region. For many, this is yet another cost in a scenario already marked by a high tax burden. For others, the concession may represent a necessary step to guarantee maintenance and safety on the highway — as long as the promised investments are effectively fulfilled.
Meanwhile, anyone using BR-364 must pay attention to the rules of the new system to avoid surprises and penalties with the definitive arrival of electronic tolls in Rondônia.
- For vehicles with TAG, the ticket will normally be charged by the operator.
- Drivers who do not have a TAG in their vehicle can pay via the Nova 364 app, or via the dealership’s website.
- To pay at one of the 14 totems installed along the route, the driver must enter the vehicle’s license plate, check the tickets and open amounts and make the payment.
Who will be exempt from charges?
Motorcyclists have a free pass. In addition to these, ambulances, official vehicles and those belonging to the Diplomatic Corps will also be exempt, as long as they are previously registered.
What are the advantages of Free Flow?
According to the Nova 364 dealership, the driver passes through the gantries without needing to stop. This reduces queues, saves time, reduces fuel consumption and brake wear. It also helps the environment by reducing pollutants. The system allows different rates and various payment methods.
How many charging points will there be?

The gantries record the passage, time and category of the vehicle. This data is sent to the system that calculates the amount to be paid.

Is it necessary to register?
It is recommended to register on the portal or on the Nova 364 app. You must provide driver and vehicle details. The platform also allows you to consult values using the license plate.
When should I pay the ticket?
Payment must be made within 30 days after passing through the gate.
Will there be discounts?
Yes. Vehicles with tags have discounts:
- DBT: 5% discount for cars and trucks.
- DUF (Frequent User – cars only): from the second ticket in the same portal and direction, in the same month, the discount increases progressively until the 30th ticket, when the value remains fixed until the end of the month.
What happens if I don’t pay the toll?
After 30 days without payment, the driver may be fined for toll evasion. The fine is R$195.23 and there are five points on the driver’s license.
Will the dealership charge without doing anything on the highway?
According to Nova 364, more than R$360 million has already been invested in paving, signage, conservation, construction of 14 operational bases, user service, inspection, towing, ambulances and expansion of the 4G signal on the stretch.
