Critics Choice 2026: “One Battle After Another” wins Best Film

The production “One Battle After Another” was the big winner in the category of Best Film no Critics Choice Awards 2026 — ceremony that took place on Sunday night (4) and serves as a thermometer for the Oscar 2026the world’s main film awards.

In history, Leonardo DiCaprio plays Bob Ferguson, a revolutionary who fights to save his daughter while facing a powerful adversary and reliving events from 16 years ago that explain his desperate situation.

The cast is still made up of Sean Penn (“Of Boys and Wolves”), Benicio del Toro (“Sicario”), Regina Hall (“Scary”), Teyana Taylor (“A Prince in New York 2”) and Chase Infiniti (“Above Suspicion”).

According to director Paul Thomas Anderson, the inspiration for creating the work came from his own family life — and that other people in situations similar to his could identify with.
