Two passenger cars collided head-on near the village of Čaklov in the district of Vranov nad Topľou. The Prešov Regional Police informs about it on the social network. According to firefighters, several people were injured.
Firefighters register eight participants in the traffic accident. “Seven people were injured, including three children,” explained for TASR the operational officer of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) in Prešov.
The accident on the I/18 road occurred on Sunday evening in front of Čaklov in the direction from the city. The police informed that the road is impassable in both directions. According to the firefighters, the section is now passable in one lane.
