Lilienfeld/St. Pölten – Last night was uncomfortably frosty in large parts of Austria. The cold poles were the Mühlviertel, the Waldviertel and the Tyrolean Ausserfern. In the Liebenau-Gugu weather station (Freistadt district) minus 25.7 degrees were measured, in Schwarzau in the Moorbad Harbach community (Gmünd district) it was minus 24.3 degrees. In the towns of Tannheim and Ehrwald in the Reutte district, minus 22.4 degrees and minus 20.2 degrees were recorded, respectively, Geosphere Austria reported.
