About Marcelo Cruz
Before becoming one of the main references in Brazilian bodybuilding, Cruz was a professional handball player, a career he was unable to pursue due to a knee injury.
As a bodybuilding athlete, he won the Brazilian NABBA (2015) and WFF (2016) championships, as well as the South American NABBA championship (2016 and 2017) and the IFBB Mister Santos (2017). Last year, he represented Brazil at the Masters Olympia and, months later, he announced his retirement from the stage to focus completely on his role as a coach.
In an interview with the column a few months ago, the professional revealed that he began to see himself more as a coach and less as an athlete from the moment DarkHouse, the Training Center (CT) for athletes sponsored by Integralmedica and Darkness, was inaugurated, just under three years ago.
