“Card expired”. Computer problem at Anda without being resolved, Linha Andante is not responsible for any fines.
For those who are out of context, we have already explained what the Anda application, valid for transport of Greater Porto who use the Andante.
The application allows you to use the entire route without prior payment; A payment method is associated, it is only paid at the beginning of the following month and the final value never exceeds €40 (maximum value of a pass, since 2019).
Anda takes into account the trips made by the passenger and chooses the best tariff to apply to each customer.
This…when the application works.
ZAP found that in the last 5 days, i.e. Since 2026 started, the Anda application does not work.
“Expired card” or “Expired title” – is the warning that appears on the famous yellow machines, whether on the metro of Porto, whether in trains CP. This Sunday, late afternoon, it was still like that.
And there’s no point looking for an immediate solution in the application itself, or looking for explanations on the internet, on the application’s own website. There is no response to this notice.
While ZAP waits for clarification from TMP – Transportes Metropolitanos do Porto, we found other reports on the matter, in .
A user remembers that, last yearthe same thing happened. But it was only on January 1stthen it was soon corrected.
Another user comments that had to buy a physical ticket to enter the subway, because of this error.
Another experienced the same problem, on a UNIR bus, but the driver let you in without paying (as happened to many other passengers these days).
Another user reveals what he heard from Linha Andante: “They reported that they just realized that today (Friday, the 2nd), when they returned to work. They say that we must buy valid titles and send proof by email, which will reimburse the costs. They added that are not responsible for fines”.
