Big Brother Brasil 26 premieres next Monday, January 12th. The season promises to start with new features, such as the five Glass Houses spread across Brazil and the participation of veterans of the reality show. Check out what is already known about BBB 26 below.
Glass House
The public will be able to choose who the participants of the Pipoca group will be: they will be in the five Casas de Vidro, distributed throughout the regions of Brazil, in São Caetano do Sul (SP), Brasília (DF), Salvador (BA), Manaus (AM) and Porto Alegre (RS).
The 20 participants in the dynamic will be revealed on Friday (9), throughout TV Globo’s programming. All homes will be broadcast live on Globoplay, from 10am to 11pm.
Each Glass House will have two men and two women – one man and one woman from each location will be chosen based on public voting, resulting in 10 participants who will enter the BBB house on the 12th. Those chosen will be revealed on Sunday, the 11th, during Domingão com Huck.
Return of ex-BBBs
In addition to the traditional division of recent years, between Pipocas (anonymous) and Camarotes (famous), what’s new in 2026 is the participation of a third group: the Veterans, bringing together former participants from other editions of the reality show.
List of participants
The complete cast of BBB 26 will only be revealed on the day of the premiere, the 12th, after the Pipocas are defined. It is on this day that the public will meet the members of the Camarotes and Veterans.
Dynamics of ‘BBB 26’
The program continues to be led by presenter Tadeu Schmid. It is already known that, this season, the house will have three Big Fones for dynamics. Furthermore, interactivity with the public also appears here: it is the spectators who will choose which phone will have the message that the brother or sister who answers will hear.
Another highlight of the edition is a “reserve bank”, designed to prevent participants considered “plants” from staying in the house for a long time. In this dynamic, participants in the so-called Laboratory will try to convince the public that they deserve to join the program, replacing any participant who is already in the house.
BBB Top Hat
Outside the most watched house in Brazil, the public will also be able to have fun with Cartola, a fantasy game popular in the world of football and which has a reality version. At Cartola BBB, viewers will be able to guess about the dynamics that take place in the house, choosing participants and assembling teams.
