By April, 16 more territorial posts will be opened under the program, which allocates resources to low-income locations based on proposals presented by municipalities and states.
Currently, territorial posts are already installed in 14 locations, such as João Pessoa (PB), Jaboatão dos Guararapes (PE), Teresina (PI), Fortaleza (CE), Mauá and Santo André (SP) and Rio de Janeiro (RJ). By April, 16 more will be implemented, including in Olinda and in the Maranguapinho river region, in Fortaleza.
The installation of territorial posts is a counterpart from municipalities and states to the release of resources for the urbanization of locations. The initiative includes hiring an interdisciplinary technical advisory team to help develop the plan for the community, which is created with the participation of residents.
They are also responsible for attending meetings and pointing out the needs of the area, in activities that are carried out at the territorial post. The forecast is that 59 stations will be opened in total.
