Pavel Trávniček was born in Konice near Prostějov in a family where they were close to music, his father played the violin and his sister Marta teaches music. He spent his childhood in Moravská Třebová, where he actively played football and played the piano and trumpet. After graduating from the natural science gymnasium, he continued his studies at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, and after graduating, he was a member of the Mrštík Brothers Theater for 3 years.
Trávniček played the prince from a fairy tale based on Božena Němcová’s first major film role, which brought him popularity and admiration, while still a university student in 1973. And so well that if he only filmed this one role in his life, we would still remember him. In the 90s of the last century, he appeared in films less: Blow my strawberries, Ugly Katka, or the retro cycle Tell. At that time, he again became famous for his excellent dubbing.
