Water your orchids with this every Tuesday and they will bloom like crazy

Orchids are undoubtedly one of the most favorite houseplants of Polish women. When they are covered with flowers, they look extremely elegant and are a beautiful decoration of the room. Of course, like any other plant, it is worth taking care of the orchid in an appropriate way. It will reward us with lush flowers. In addition to our home, watering is crucial in its care. What we water our orchids with is extremely important. We definitely should not use regular tap water for this purpose. Firstly, it is too cold, and secondly, too hard. Choosing the right water is crucial to ensure healthy growth and uninterrupted flowering. It is best to use room temperature water to water orchids. Of course, the ideal solution is to water them with rainwater, but not all of us have access to it. In such a situation, boil tap water and leave it for 24 hours, then water your orchid once a week. This treatment allows you to remove chlorine and partially reduce water hardness.

Watering an orchid. Important rules

Please remember that these are plants that need to be watered quite often, but be careful not to overwater them. The best solution is to moisturize, that is, after a while, remove excess water from the base of the pot. The color of the orchid’s roots will help determine the appropriate watering frequency. If they are green, refrain from watering the plant. Once your koelas turn white, you can safely water them. You can also prepare a special water mixture for watering orchids. Pour 200 ml of distilled water into the watering can and add 50 ml of tap water. Then water your orchids with it.
