The case involved a couple made up of a civil police officer and a military police officer who live in the same property. According to preliminary information, the two had a disagreement inside the residence, at which point shots were fired, frightening residents of the region and leading to the call of the Military Police.

Upon arriving at the scene, the garrison found that shots had hit the military police officer’s vehicle. The suspicion is that the person who fired the shots was the civil police officer. Despite the seriousness of the situation, no one was injured.

The area was isolated to ensure safety and preserve the site. The couple was then taken to the Acrelândia Civil Police Station, where the case was registered and legal procedures began.

The circumstances of the episode will be determined through investigation. A Military Police Inquiry (IPM) must be opened to evaluate the conduct of the military police officer and possible administrative measures. At the same time, the Civil Police investigates the possible occurrence of crimes such as threats, damage to property or domestic violence.

The case remains under investigation by the competent authorities.
