On Sunday, the unit started the second series of Touch of Life. She adapted the series from the Danish original to Slovak conditions, and changes also occurred in the cast. The star of the first series – Jana Kolesárová was sent to the background, and the new driving force became an international actress with Slovak roots Antónia Lišková. For her, it was an opportunity to leave Rome, where she lives, and return, at least for a while, to her birthplace, where her family lives. However, he does it in his own way.
“I usually come here alone, because I need to get back into the rhythm and into my comfort zone. Otherwise, I would have to translate, show, and I would be a tourist at home again. And I don’t want that. So, when I come home, I usually come alone or with my daughter.” she said to Lišková, whose daughter Lilian Ferrarese does not master her mother’s native language on a unit with an asterisk.
“She speaks a little Slovak, not as much as I do, but she knows. She understands. When she was little, my sister lived there with me. My sister also worked in Italy and speaks perfect Italian. So my daughter didn’t have to learn Slovak. But now that we have a nephew there, she’s already trying.” the popular star, who is happy about her nephew, explained her family background to us because, according to her, he finally broke the “grandmother”.
Lišková mentions the filming of the sequel to Touch of Life, which was moved from the maternity ward to pediatrics. He says that there was a high level of professionalism on the film set and he “sat down” with his colleagues. One thing brought tears to her eyes in the hall. The stories they processed in the project were not only positive, and Antónia even cried.
“It was because I’m a mother. And really, when I think that many parents have to go through the fact that the children are sick, that they are in the hospital. And even that sometimes they don’t even give it. One day it really made me very sad. One day I was really very bad. I was here alone, of course, I closed the door to the apartment and it was difficult.” the artist remembers the day that brought her to her knees. What put her back on her feet?
“Of course you have to get yourself together now. Then I had a few glasses of wine, chatted with friends in Rome, with my daughter, and then it just settled down,” she added.
Antónia Lišková thinks that the series for RTVS did not close, but on the contrary, a new circle began. “Because I shot a series in Italy, which was also released in Slovakia, and it’s called Enchantment. There it was called Incantesimo and it was a huge success. So I was 23 years old, and that was the series with which I came to the attention of filmmakers. Everything really took off, especially my career. When I learned that the Slovak project is from a medical environment, I realized that everything is starting all over again. So I liked it a lot. And I hope it’s as successful as Enchanted,” said the actress, whose ex-husband was a doctor.
According to the portal, 422,000 viewers watched the opening episode of the second season of Touch of Life. They have a few more episodes in prime time on Sunday.
