Bregenz – Due to a cluster of animals testing positive for bovine TB, all 49 remaining cattle in a farm in the Bregenzerwald that had been closed since the beginning of December were killed on Wednesday. The state of Vorarlberg announced this in a broadcast. The measure is part of the standardized veterinary procedure. Four other companies are currently still closed due to suspected TB, but no further closures have been imposed since December 20, 2025, it said.
