Sad news hit the futsal world. Former national team player Jan Lištván died suddenly at the age of 37. He breathed his last on January 5. The information was published on the Facebook profile of Futsal FIFA Czech Republic. In the first league, he wore the jersey of Nejzbach, Benaga, Chrudim and Slávia. He won three titles during his career.
The news of the popular player’s departure also affected Futsal Slavia. “Honzík, rest in peace. You will forever remain a legend in the history of our club. Your departure hurts immensely“, the club confessed to X.
The cause of death has not yet been released, but Lištván’s father hinted at something. “I know it’s late, but why didn’t you come and say, ‘I’m in trouble, help me.’ This was not the solution.” wrote the bereaved man, who was quoted by the Športovec portal. He left behind two daughters and a wife, Zdenka.
