The president of the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Jorge Viana, published this Tuesday, January 6, a video on social media in which he highlighted Acre’s historic performance in exports in 2025.
In the video, Viana states that the state reached US$98.9 million in exports last year, an increase of 13% compared to the previous year. “The result is historic. In 2025, Acre reached US$98.9 million in exports, growth of 13% compared to the previous year”, he said.

According to him, the value represents more than half a billion reais in foreign sales and guaranteed Acre a trade balance of US$93 million. “This represents more than half a billion reais in foreign sales and a trade balance of US$93 million, the largest in the state’s history”, he highlighted.
Jorge Viana also highlighted that Acre began to occupy a more relevant space in international trade, even in the face of an adverse global scenario. “Acre changed its level and began to occupy a more relevant space in international trade, even in a challenging global scenario, marked by Trump’s tariffs,” he stated.
Among the products that drove growth are beef, soybeans, pork, Brazil nuts and wood. For Viana, the numbers reflect the strengthening of local production chains. “These results reflect the strengthening of the state’s production chains, cooperatives and Acre companies in the international market,” he said.
Finally, the president of ApexBrasil attributed the performance to the joint work of the federal government and the state’s economic sectors. “This result is the result of the joint effort of the government of President Lula, vice-president Geraldo Alckmin, Itamaraty, the Ministry of Agriculture, the MDIC, the economic sectors of Acre and the work led by ApexBrasil”, he concluded.
