Dispute with Japan: China targets chip suppliers


Taipei/Beijing – China is taking new economic measures in the Taiwan dispute with Japan. Just one day after banning the export of so-called dual-use goods, the People’s Republic initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports from Japan on Wednesday. Specifically, it is about the chemical dichlorosilane, which is primarily used in the semiconductor industry, as the Ministry of Commerce in Beijing announced.
