Motorcyclist William Estácio Oliveira, 22 years old, suffered a laceration on his right foot after a collision between a motorcycle and a car on Tuesday afternoon (6), at the intersection of Rua Pernambuco and Rua Manoel Cassiano da Silva, in the Bosque neighborhood, in Rio Branco.

According to information provided by the victim himself to the report, William was traveling towards the center of the neighborhood along Rua Pernambuco, on a red Fan 160 model motorcycle with license plate SQT-7G51, when he was surprised by a vehicle leaving Rua Manoel Cassiano da Silva. The driver did not respect the “stop” sign and proceeded into the preferential lane. After the collision, the driver fled the scene without providing assistance to the victim.
As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist’s foot was sandwiched between the brake and the motorcycle’s footboard, suffering a laceration between his toes that extended to the back of his foot, approximately 15 centimeters long and exposed bone.
Even though he was injured, William managed to balance himself on the motorcycle, but fell about 100 meters later, close to the Maternity Canal. With a bloody foot, he asked people who were passing by for help. People provided assistance and called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).

A basic support ambulance was sent and provided first assistance. After protocol procedures and immobilization of the injured foot, the young man was taken to the Rio Branco Emergency Room, where he was admitted in stable health.
