The singer, influencer and former BBB 20 participant, Flay31, revealed that she was invited by the TV Globo team to join the next edition of the reality show, scheduled to premiere on January 12th.
This time, in addition to the groups and , the season will feature , made up of former players who made their mark in the competition. She, however, would have been disqualified after news of the invitation was leaked in the press.
“Yes, folks, BBB 26 approached me this year to return to the program, and I accepted straight away, obviously. In addition to being a big fan of the reality show, I am extremely grateful, because participating changed my life, right? Everyone followed,” he began in a video published on Instagram on Wednesday (7).
Afterwards, Flay explained that she only decided to speak out out of respect for those who follow her and support her success. “I’m following and seeing that expectations are very high with this news of my participation in BBB 26”, he continued.
“The program really contacted me as soon as the news came out that some BBB were back for this edition. Afterwards, we had a meeting and I said yes, but that I would need to plan very well, as I’m back on stage now and I would have to stop my schedule to be able to organize myself”, he stated.
According to the influencer, she waited for the second contact, just like her first participation – by registration. “I’ve never been to Camarote, I don’t know if it works differently, but I thought it would be the same way”, he recalled.
Thus, the ex-BBB would have canceled her entire concert schedule to be free to play. “And that’s why, folks, in December I stopped my shows and immediately started writing a new album, making thousands of videos, a lot of music, to be able to get everything ready in time and take advantage of my participation to launch these projects. Of course, I’m not stupid”, she pointed out.
“And so I was waiting too, just like you. It turns out that, months later, the news leaked. And I honestly don’t know how the hell Leo Dias found out that I was negotiating my return to the program, because, from the bottom of my heart, I didn’t tell anyone. I don’t know if he has an informant inside, because it’s not possible, guys”, he joked.
“Not even my partner knew, and he didn’t understand anything, because I decided to put a stop to my show schedule and stay at home producing, right during such a festive period in the Northeast, which is the end of the year and Carnival, which I said I wouldn’t do shows during those two periods and he went crazy. I was leaving it to tell him when I was closer”, he highlighted.
Flay also said that, two days after the news spread, he received a new message canceling his possible participation. “My world fell apart at that moment,” he recalled.
Near the end, she highlighted that she has no problem with the Rio broadcaster for changing their mind.
“In no way am I making this video as a form of complaint or anything with Globo or the program, it’s more of a statement out of respect for everyone who follows my career. […] Now, then, I’m confined, yes, but it’s in the hotel here in Fortaleza, from the hotel to the studio, continuing with my projects”, he joked.
