The musician Fran Gil30, announced, this Thursday (8), that his band, Gilsonswill release the second studio album soon. On social media, he and his colleagues also commented on the inspirations for the new musical project, marked mainly by the death of Preta Gil50, mother of Fran.
“When we think of an end, the idea usually also comes to mind, silence, light. Shadow also reveals shapes, and shapes are not always so clear,” he wrote in a text.
“Navigating through the shapes of shadows is inevitable. We went through a year that we will not forget, because it was the most difficult, and we smiled”, he admitted.
“We also made an album. Our second album. Our songs. Our stories. Light and shadow”, he concluded.
The trio is made up of Francisco Gil, José Gil and João Gil. The first is the result of Preta’s relationship with actor Otávio Muller. José is the son of Gilberto Gil and Flora Gil; while João is Nara Gil’s heir.
