In November 2025, the Brazilian industry it operated 14.8% below the peak reached in May 2011. The data is from the Monthly Industrial Survey released by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) this Thursday morning (8).
In the capital goods category, production is 28.5% below the peak recorded in September 2013, while durable consumer goods had the highest loss since May 2024 (-10.5%).
The IBGE also reported that intermediate goods are 12.8% below the May 2011 peak, and semi-durable and non-durable goods operate at a level 12.4% below the June 2013 peak.
