Massive snowfall expected in Germany: some schools closed on Friday


Offenbach/Berlin – Germany is preparing for massive snowfalls, freezing rain and storms: From Thursday evening, the German Weather Service expects dangerous precipitation in large parts of the country, and on Friday there is a risk of stormy amounts of fresh snow of up to 20 centimeters and snow drifts. Snow and slippery conditions already have the country under control. Deutsche Bahn reduced its long-distance transport offerings in parts of northern Germany, and there were disruptions and accidents on roads.
