According to the PF, “it is not possible to eliminate or significantly reduce this noise through simple or specific measures”
The Federal Police (PF) informed the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes that “it is not possible to eliminate or significantly reduce” the noise from the air conditioning reported by the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the General Staff Room where he is held.
In a letter sent to the STF this Wednesday, the 7th, the corporation explained that the location is “adjacent to technical areas intended for the installation and operation of equipment for the building’s air conditioning system”, which generates constant noise in the environment.
According to the PF, “it is not possible to eliminate or significantly reduce this noise through simple or specific measures”. The corporation states that any effective intervention would require “complex infrastructure actions” and the “total shutdown of the air conditioning system for a prolonged period”.

Also according to the document, this interruption would cause “damage to the continuity of ordinary work” of the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police in the Federal District.
The PF also ruled out transferring the former president to another space, stating that “there is, at the moment, no physical alternative that meets institutional security requirements” for installing a General Staff Room in another location.
