Already on Monday, January 26, 2026, the sixth series of the successful family comedy series Pán profesor will start on Markíza. The television phenomenon, which is not afraid to open sensitive and current topics of the young generation, will bring new stories, emotions and challenges. Viewers will be able to watch the premiere episodes every Monday at 8:30 p.m.
Serial hit about the high school teacher Sam Vozár, presented by Tomáš Maštalírbecame extraordinary mainly due to his ability to connect strong social themes with lightness and humor. The stories of young people, their internal struggles, the search for identity or relationships with adults have resonated across generations.
“Mr. Professor is a project that was able to touch the emotions of the audience, open up important social topics and at the same time maintain honesty and insight. Since its launch in 2020, it has built an extremely strong bond with viewers and has become a brand we love to return to. In the final series, Samo Vozár starts teaching again in his typical way, but new challenges await him – in both his personal and professional life.
New characters will appear, fresh stories and the dynamics of his relationship with Klaudia will also change, which will add a new dimension to their common line,” said Silvia Majeská, program director of the Markíza group. In the previous five series, viewers watched with excitement, how it develops and what obstacles the relationship of the main pair of teachers – the charismatic Sam Vozár with an unconventional approach not only to learning and the empathetic Klaudia Belanská – faceswhich obeys the rules.
“Vozár himself is definitely one of the most distinctive characters of my career. We are together for the sixth season and I am convinced that the audience will remember it for a long time,” says Tomáš Maštalír and adds: “All of us who work on the project can probably agree that the series tries to reflect on current topics and problems of the young generation. I think it succeeds to a large extent. Moreover, it is all presented in a non-violent, kind and often smiling way.”
He, as well as his co-star Gabika Marcinková, enjoyed returning to the set after more than two years. “I think that Mr. Professor was a heart project for many of us – whether actors or crew members. We’ve always had a lot of fun, but in this season 6, I think it was even more intense and relaxed. We really enjoyed every single day and I believe that our viewers will feel it too,” reveals Gabriela Marcinková.
Fans can also look forward to other favorite members of the teaching staff – Roman Luknár as school principal Denis Rácz, Petra Polnišová as teacher Barbara Hudáková, Sam Trnka as Lac Hudákas well as the actors who appeared in the previous five series.
The latest episodes will follow the dramatic events of the fifth season finale. Klaudia and Sam’s wedding, which was supposed to be a symbol of a new beginning, ended in an explosion. The sixth season will thus bring answers to the questions of how the main characters and their surroundings cope with the consequences of this event. At the same time, Samo again fully immerses himself in the world of his students and their daily problems.
Also in the new episodes, the series will touch on topics that are extremely relevant for young people – online bullying, relationships with parents, setting boundaries or self-acceptance.
