Trump also claimed that the increase in attacks on ICE members is the fault of the “radical left,” who “threaten, assault and target law enforcement and ICE agents daily,” and that they are merely “protecting” the United States.

A woman died this Wednesday (7) after clashing with agents from the United States Immigration and Customs Service in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to the US Department of Homeland Security, protesters tried to block the agents’ action, and the woman tried to run over members of ICE, in an act of “domestic terrorism”. An agent then shot at the vehicle and hit the woman, who died. According to the agency, officers were injured.
Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said in a statement that her office is already aware of the attack and will diligently investigate the case. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has demanded that ICE agents leave the city, and that they stand firmly on the side of their immigrant and refugee communities.”
