A team from the fire and rescue garrison of the 6th BEPCIF was called this Thursday (08) to contain a fire at the João Câncio Fernandes hospital, in Sena Madureira, in the interior of Acre.

According to information collected by ContilNet, the incident took place in the administrative area of the hospital unit, after staff noticed a strong odor, possibly in the electrical installations of an air conditioner.
As soon as the call was received, the team went to the hospital and took all appropriate measures. Fortunately, the fire did not spread and no one was injured.
Our team contacted the hospital manager, Nildete Lira, to talk about the matter. She stated that everything was nothing more than a scare, and thanks to the Firefighters’ actions, the situation was quickly controlled.
