Washington/Moscow – According to the army, the United States has “seized” a Russian-flagged oil tanker in the North Atlantic and detained another tanker in Caribbean waters. The Russian tanker Bella 1, which had previously been pursued by the US Army for weeks, was brought under US control on behalf of the Justice Department and the Interior Ministry “due to violating US sanctions,” the US military command for Europe said on X with on Wednesday.
