“The driver behaved chaotically, resisting authority before brutally running over an ICE agent,” he said. Donald Trump on her Truth Social account, in reaction to the death of that 37-year-old woman by immigration agents in the largest city in the state of Minnesota.
The North American Head of State added that “These incidents happen because the radical left threatens and attacks our law enforcement and ICE officers on a daily basis.”.
Videos deny Trump
In videos shared on social media, the woman, who was driving the van, is seen being surrounded by ICE agents, who ask her to get out of the vehicle. The suspect did not respect orders and continued on.
However, contrary to what the US president stated – that the agent was “brutally run over” – there was no collisionbut rather an attempted run over.

I grew up under communism in Poland. I know exactly what state harassment looks like.
What I saw in Minneapolis was not law enforcement. It was intimidation, escalation, panic of unqualified law enforcement, then murder.

Death was “to be expected”. It was the 5th
The death of this woman in Minnesota will be the fifth to occur during migration operations under Donald Trump’s government – according to data collected by the portal The Trace, dedicated to controlling firearms violence in the USA.
In turn, the governor of Minnesota, Tim Waltzsaid at a press conference that the shooting that took the life of that woman, who has not yet been identified, was “to wait”due to the large ICE device relocated in the city and “totally avoidable”.
As immigration detentions in Minneapolis have intensified in recent months as part of the federal government’s strategy to increase detentions of irregular immigrants, with special emphasis on the Somali community, heavily criticized by Trump, a policy that has generated recurring protests in the city and tensions between federal authorities and community groups.
