Railway traffic was interrupted on Friday morning from 7:31 a.m. at the Kraľovany railway station (ŽST). The train in the station, while lifting the collector, burned the traction line on the 1st station track. This was confirmed for TASR by the department of communication and marketing of the Railways of the Slovak Republic (ŽSR).
“From 8:00 a.m., trains were resumed running via ŽST Kraľovany on an even group of tracks. Our employees are working to eliminate the malfunction, and we expect the restoration of traffic, even on an odd group of tracks, within approximately two hours.” they said from ŽSR.
