Bafta 2026: check the list of pre-nominees for the “British Oscar”

The British Film Academy announced this Friday (9) the pre-nominated for Bafta (British Academy Film Awards), also known as the “British Oscars”.

The Brazilian film “The Secret Agent” appeared in the category of Best Non-English Language Film and Best Screenplay. Petra Costa’s documentary, “Apocalypse in the Tropics”also made the pre-list.

Furthermore, the Brazilian Adolpho Veloso could win a nomination for Best Cinematography for “Sonhos de Trem”. See the pre-list below.

The award nominees will be revealed on January 27th. The ceremony is scheduled for February 22nd in London, United Kingdom.
