Blocked building collapses after heavy rain in Itaquaquecetuba (SP)

A building collapsed after heavy rains that hit the state of São Paulo this Thursday (8). The property was located in the Brilho de Lua neighborhood, in Itaquaquecetuba (SP).

According to information provided by , the house was preventively closed by the agency and uninhabited at the time of the incident.

According to Civil Defense, so far, there are no reports of injuries. Teams remain in attendance.

State of attention in the capital

It stops this Thursday (8). The end of the state of attention was announced by the CGE (Climate Emergency Management Center) at 6:20 pm.

A bus was left stranded in the middle of the floods that hit Cidade Tiradentes, in the East Zone of the capital of São Paulo. According to the Fire Department, the incident has now ended and the victims have been removed from the vehicle.

According to the Fire Department, so far the following have been recorded:

  • 09 calls for tree falls;
  • 02 calls for landslides;
  • 11 calls for flooding.
