“Lula chose January 8th to veto the Dosimetry PL approved by Congress. An opportunistic veto, which maintains excesses, legal uncertainty and political persecution. It’s not a coincidence. It’s a narrative,” said Zucco.
The association of the veto with the anniversary of the attacks on the Three Powers in 2023 transforms the technical debate into a symbolic confrontation. For the opposition, the date would represent an attempt to humiliate Congress and stigmatize supporters of the proposal.
