After missing for several days, Maycon Douglas was found lifeless in Praia da Nazaré on the morning of last Wednesday, January 7th, leaving his family, friends and fans devastated by this departure.
In recent days, many tributes have been left by friends on social media and on the morning of Friday, January 9th, it was Rúben Silvestre’s turn to speak out.
Through his Instagram account, the former ‘Secret Story 8’ contestant shared some moments he lived with his friend on the program and outside of it, also leaving his message in voice off.
“There are people who don’t come through our lives. They stay. And Maycon stayed”, started by ensuring. “It was light on gray days, it was a hug that wasn’t tight, it was easy laughter, the kind that sinks into your memory and never leaves. It still has a hard time accepting a world where it doesn’t physically exist, it still all seems unreal to me, like a nightmare from which we hope to wake up. The head tries to understand but the heart refuses, because there are absences that simply don’t make sense”realized.
After remembering a little about how their friendship was born and remembering some of his friend’s characteristics, Rúben Silvestre burst into tears: “On my part, this is an apology. I’m sorry if I ever failed you (…). I take you with me in the silences, in the laughter that now hurts. In the moments when I need strength, I will remember you, because whoever is a true light, never goes out. And you Maycon, you will exist… you will exist in me forever”he finished, very emotional.
In the caption of the post, Rúben Silvestre simply wrote: “Friendship doesn’t end. It transforms. 🤍 See you soon my brother, rest in peace. 🙏🏼”.
