Low-income families served by Energisa are now entitled to the Electricity Social Discount, a Federal Government program that can reduce the value of the electricity bill by up to 6.89% in Acre. The benefit is intended for families registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico), with a monthly income between half and one minimum wage per person.
The discount will be automatically applied to monthly electricity consumption of up to 120 kWh, through exemption from electricity sector charges. Indigenous and quilombola families who meet the income criteria are also entitled to the Social Discount. It is important to highlight that consumption above this limit will be charged at the conventional residential rate.

“Energisa reinforces that it is not necessary to make a request to the distributor. The discount is automatically granted to those who have an updated CadÚnico and are the holder of the energy account. If the beneficiary is not the holder of the invoice, regularization can be carried out through our digital channels”, says Ezequiel Pinheiro, coordinator of Energisa Acre.
Anyone who is not yet registered with CadÚnico should contact the municipality’s Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) to register. Registration and updating of data are the responsibility of the Federal Government, and the concessionaire uses this information only to apply the benefit.
More information can be obtained through Energisa’s service channels, such as the Energisa On app (available for Android and IOS), the Digital Agency () and WhatsApp Gisa: (68) 99233-0341.
Tarifa Social – there is no change for low-income customers entitled to the social tariff benefit. Everyone who meets the criteria (families registered with CadÚnico, with per capita income up to half the minimum wage, BPC, indigenous people and quilombolas) continues to receive free tariffs up to 80 kWh.
