Jeddah – Real Madrid followed FC Barcelona into the final of the Spanish Super Cup. Coach Xabi Alonso’s team beat Atletico 2-1 (1-0) in the second semi-final of the mini-tournament in Saudi Arabia. Federico Valverde scored in the 2nd minute and Rodrygo (55th) scored for Real in Jeddah. David Alaba only saw the win from the bench again. The final is scheduled for Sunday (8 p.m.), last year Barcelona won 5-2 against Real.
