Vienna – The trial of a violent attack on Arab-looking men continued at the Vienna Regional Court on Friday, in which five people were injured, some seriously, at Meidling train station on July 7, 2024. After eight of the 24 defendants with predominantly Chechen roots received suspended sentences in the first instance, eight more boys between the ages of 18 and 20 were now being tried. In the end, six were convicted as charged.
