Syrian government declares limited ceasefire for Aleppo


Aleppo – After violent clashes between troops of the Islamist interim government and Kurdish fighters in Aleppo, northern Syria, which left at least 21 dead, the interim government has announced a temporary ceasefire. The Syrian Defense Ministry said there would be a ceasefire in the embattled districts of Sheikh Maqsood, Achrafieh and Bani Seid from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Armed groups are asked to leave the affected neighborhoods.
