Niamey/Vienna – The Chancellor’s Special Representative for Global Affairs, Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, is helping in the case of the Austrian woman kidnapped in Niger. Launsky has been supporting efforts to free Eva G. since the summer at the request of Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger (Neos), the Foreign Ministry told the APA on the occasion of the anniversary of the kidnapping. The top diplomat has already successfully mediated in several kidnapping cases.
