Trump cancels second wave of attacks on Venezuela after release of political prisoners

The American president, said this Friday (9) that he canceled a second wave of attacks on after the

“Venezuela is releasing a large number of political prisoners as a sign that it is ‘seeking peace’ (…) through this cooperation, I canceled the expected second wave of attacks,” the president wrote on his Truth platform.

He also stated that major oil companies will invest “at least 100 billion dollars” (538 billion reais) in Venezuela, and that he will meet with these companies this Friday at the White House.
