The crime took place at Residencial Bonsucesso in the Baixada da Sobral region and the arrests took place near the Industrial Park, on BR-364, in the Belo Jardim 2 neighborhood, in the Second District region of Rio Branco.

According to information from the Military Police of the 2nd Battalion, the elderly man was arriving at his home at 5pm at Residencial Bonsucesso in the Baixada da Sobral region when he was approached by two criminals in possession of fire brown and they surrendered and took him inside the residence where the robbers had access to the house key and forced him to make a transfer via Pix to a woman identified on the bank statement as Adriana Haluen Rocha.

Furthermore, the suspects separated the victim’s personal objects, placed them in suitcases and fled with the black BYD vehicle.

Hours later, the victim managed to untie herself and via 190 made the first report to public security agencies, who were alert and began carrying out the necessary searches.

The incident was attended to by the RP 204 garrison, which was patrolling the highway, towards Cidade do Povo, when it received, via COPOM radio, information about the theft of a black BYD vehicle.

According to the alert, the car had just passed through the electronic siege of Ponte do Judia, heading towards Cidade do Povo.

While traveling to locate the car, the police spotted the vehicle near the Industrial Park. Upon noticing the vehicle approaching, the driver began several dangerous maneuvers, putting the safety of the police officers at risk. According to the PM, the driver did not have a license to drive a motor vehicle.

Before the police even got out of the vehicle, the occupants abandoned the car and tried to escape on foot, running towards a dense forest area. Given the situation, RP 204 radioed the location of the vehicle to the other garrisons that were traveling for support.

During the chase, police received information that the suspects were armed, possibly with a shotgun. After searching the region, the two men were caught, and when they surrendered, they were then handcuffed to prevent escape.

During the approach, they confessed that the vehicle was stolen and reported that the stolen objects were in the trunk, in addition to a firearm hidden under the passenger seat.

Given the facts, Abrahão and Felipe were arrested and taken to the Flagrantes Police Station (Defla), along with the firearm, the vehicle and the stolen objects, so that the appropriate measures could be taken.

At (DEFLA), the victim was already awaiting assistance from the Civil Police to file a police report, when the prisoners arrived and were promptly recognized by the elderly man.
