A fire in a nursing home in the municipality of Fafe, district of Braga, injured three people this Friday, who were transported to the hospital, and another 30 people were treated at the scene, a Civil Protection source told Lusa.
Source from the Ave Sub-regional Command said that two employees and one user were transported to the Guimarães hospital.
Another 30 people were assisted at the scene following the incident, he added.
The alert for the incident was given at 8:24 pm and occurred in a nursing home in Medelo, municipality of Fafe.
The victims are related to smoke inhalation and stressaccording to the Ave Sub-regional Command.
According to the same source, the fire was already extinguished when resources arrived at the scene.
Members of the firefighters, INEM and GNR were present at the scene.
