Since the age of 15, when she discovered Hodgkin’s lymphoma and a tumor in her neck and chest, which prevented her from breathing and compressed her heart, Isabel shared her routine and struggles on social media. Born in Dois Vizinhos (PR), she gained popularity precisely because she shared her fight against diseases. She was even judged on the internet and accused of lying about her real state of health, but even so she continued to be active sharing her day to day life.

In February 2022, he began publishing posts about his reaction to chemotherapy, including sharing a photo of himself bald. She completed the treatment in March, but later discovered that it had no effect.

In 2023, the influencer underwent an autologous bone marrow transplant and celebrated that she had beaten cancer, but in January 2024 she reported that the tumor had returned and the cancer was classified as terminal. “Having a cancer that no longer has a cure hurts, a lot, but knowing that I have the Lord with me, as well as the people I love, makes everything lighter,” he declared.

With no more curative possibilities within traditional therapies, he began to undergo palliative care. In 2024, she married Lucas Borbas, with whom she became pregnant. The announcement surprised the web. .

“I was hospitalized for one reason and remained hospitalized for another reason. […] There was nothing to worry about with him. [Arthur]but it was up to me”, he said. According to Isabel, the chemotherapy she underwent during pregnancy “had no effect”, as she was “weaker”. “I had not yet reached this state, with the cancer being in one of the organs. It was only in my neck and in my intestine, it had never spread to any other location”, he stated at the time. Arthur was born on December 28, 2024.

In 2025, more hope in the fight against the disease. He announced that he had gone into remission and underwent another bone marrow transplant, this time with a donation from his father. “When I was little, my father carried me on his lap. He taught me to walk, protected me from the world. He gave me life, as every father does. But I grew up… and the world for a moment became a battlefield. The disease came. I fought. I fell. I got up. I survived.”, he wrote in a text shared in gratitude to his father.

However, the time of celebration was interrupted when, less than 20 days later, she had to return to the hospital and be intubated after having a respiratory crisis caused by excess magnesium in her blood. Since December 4, 2025, she was admitted to the ICU in a serious condition, where she had a series of complications, including Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD).
