If she confirms her classification for the 2026 Winter Games, Nicole Silveira would compete in her second edition of the multi-sport event
The Brazilian Nicole Silveira won, this Friday (9), the bronze medal in the St. Moritz stage of the Skeleton World Cup. After the tournament, the 31-year-old athlete celebrated the podium and analyzed her season leading up to the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games. “This medal is very important to me, because it shows that everything I am sacrificing and all the effort I am making is the right path”, said Nicole.
“The athletes I’m competing against, many have more experience than I have, but I’m trying to find the shortcut to get to the top. And it’s an Olympic year, so everyone is very strong”, he added. This was Nicole’s third medal at the Skeleton World Cup stages. She had already been bronze in PyeongChang, South Korea, in 2024 and in St. Moritz itself, last year.
