Vatican City – Pope Leo XIV has sharply criticized the Church’s handling of victims of sexual abuse. The scandal was exacerbated in many places by the fact that those affected were not admitted and heard, said the Pope in a non-public address at the end of the consistory on January 7th and 8th, the text of which was published by the Vatican press office on Saturday.
