Information was posted by lawyer Tayane Dalazen, who suffered the bite, on her own social networks
A 36-year-old tourist from São Paulo claimed to have been bitten by a shark this Friday (9) during a diving activity in tourist archipelago located in Pernambuco. The information was posted by lawyer Tayane Dalazen, who suffered the bite, on her own social networks. In one of the publications, she shows the thigh of her right leg bandaged, with blood stains on the bandage. “I was bitten by a nurse shark while snorkeling, I’m fine!”, he commented.
In another post, already on the beach and with her foot in the sand, she reinforces that she has no complications due to the injury and even jokes about the situation: “I’m fine! The bite wasn’t deep. The shark must have no teeth”, wrote Tayane with laughing emojis.
In a note, Fernando de Noronha reported that São Lucas Hospital treated a woman from São Paulo, victim of a shark injury, but “not serious”.
“The patient was admitted stable, conscious and oriented, with a superficial, non-life-threatening wound. A dressing, medication prescription and instructions for local care were applied”, said the island’s spokesperson, who did not give details about the place where the shark attacked the tourist.
The Environmental Surveillance bodies, the Fire Department, the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio) and the Shark Incident Monitoring Committee were called in with the aim of adopting the necessary measures, such as monitoring the area and preventive actions with the tourism sector.
